Wild hibiscus
A shrub growing in grassland, up to 2 m. The leaves are up to 12 cm long, the stalk is soft and velvety. The diameter of the flowers is up to 9 cm (Nov.-Apr.). Prefers shade, and is widespread in rainfall areas.
